Strong Reflections

Sun smiles down from the deep blue sky. So my wife and I decide to take a walk at the Isar, a river that flows through Munich.

I pack camera and three lenses - two primes and a longer zoom. Strong reflections of houses on the river. Choose a composition - cars in the street, houses in the background and their reflections in front of me.

The zoom lens has too long and one prime too short focal length. Only M1.7/50 would fit to get my favorite perspective - almost. Unfortunately zooming by feet doesn’t work. The zoom lens that would offer what I need sleeps at home. Ever experienced such? What a pity. I have to cut composition - street or one houses roof. My decision ...
